Doug Brooker, owner of Brooker Productions, has won many broadcast awards – including two Emmy Awards, a CINE Golden Eagle and two Telly Awards – and a host of other national and regional awards for excellence in media production over the past 30 years. He has a Masters Degree in Journalism and Marketing from Drake University.

Doug Brooker was Executive Producer for Sports, Special Events and Iowa Affairs;

He assigned and supervised the daily production work and the editorial review of seven producer/directors for a statewide magazine program, Living In Iowa, and two producer/directors for sports and special events programming at the statewide television network. He coordinated all internal operations with the network's administrative, creative, technical, multimedia and development staff and, on selected projects, coordinated the workload of a forty-person production and engineering team
